I think this pub may have closed has it always seems to be in darkness when I pass by and the car park is empty. It may also explain why Greene King have refurbished the nearby Greengage pub recently.

Under going a serious make over at great cost by Greene King not sure what the result will be.

Not a bad pub; a lively local, but not worth an 8, that's for sure. Food is OK.
