A little up market but friendly with well kept beers and a good selection. Well worth a visit.

Its fine enough place to drink but very very smart and hardly a pub. To its credit always has at least 1 local ale, but expensive on everything not least its over rated food.

Visited several pubs in the town centre on Saturday, including Cromwells Cafe Bar, Samuelpepys Three Tuns and Market Inn. Didnt stay in any of them for any length of time. This was by far the best .Three real ales on, nice bar area, friendly staff and comfy seats. Beer a bit pricy 3 a pint ,but then again it is a hotel.

Old country house hotel that used to be a bank, Comfortable chairs, pricey food and decent beer, 3 hanpulls all available today. Easy going for its type, good and relaxing.

Its a Hotel.... so expect Hotel prices, The food is very good and if wine is your thing, you'll find one of the finest wine lists in the county.. If not East of England. Beer not half bad.. but... its a Hotel

An excellent pub/hotel - I liked it very much. Just somewhere you can take the foot off the pedal and come out of the rat race for blessed moments and relax away. Good standard of bar service and excellent range of drinks - good vodka, rum, wine and gin selection and 3 real ales on. Go on, treat yourself.
