All Bar One, Birminghamback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Varied menu and great tasting food. Chatty, friendly staff working the tables (if youre eating), bar staff not so friendly.
Come 5pm this place is filled with unnecessarily loud, watch parading city boys attempting to impress possibly because 5pm also means cheap cocktails! Except if its a Friday or a Saturday but Id hope on these days youd have a life and go somewhere decent!

Great food and great staff. Shame about not having any ale.

Went in here for a leaving do a few months back.
Standard All Bar One. Full of trendies, suits and other stupid people people who were willing to pay 4 for a glass of wine, 3 for a pint, or 8 for a double and mixer. Bombardier was available, but ran out.
Friendly staff, and the food looked and smelled lovely, but where good beer is concerned, avoid.

Another smart place in the commercial district. Originally an independent called Mortons before it became part of the ABO chain, it has fortunately kept some of its original character. It's long and narrow so, unlike, Metro down the road, doesn't feel totally empty and exposed when there aren't many customers in.
It use to have a few real ales on handpull but they seem to have gone now. It seems to specialise in foreign lagers now, much like its sister in Brindley Place.

Great beer range but is more likened to a library than a bar. Very little atmosphere and quite expensive.

True - its a fantastic bar for continental beer - un-matched anywhere else in Brum. No ale though!!
