Now closed and demolished by Hydes, to be replaced with houses.

The pub is still the same for July 2014.not a lot of custom nowadays, but it still has a decent pint of Real ale on offer.Pity it out of the way,(need a car to get to it) unless you live local,Its well worth the visit

Good Hydes real ales and sport on big screen (2.20 for bitter). Friendly locals.

I actually like the fact this pub is 'off the beaten track', 'in the middle of nowhere'. It's not that far to walk and you feel as though you've earned a pint when you get there. The location is pretty scenic for the middle of a housing estate and the outside seating is perfect for when the weather is sunny as it was yesterday afternoon when I was there. Beer cheap as well, Hydes Original Bitter 2 a pint and on top form.

Good clean establishment with a well kept ale selection from Hydes.

Pity this pub is off the beaten track cos its a great place, very friendly, clean and a great pint of mild. Gets very busy when football is on the big screen especially when that team in red are on

What a shame. Good pint, good service, decent price and decent clientele but situated in the middle of no-where. If someone else is driving it's worth it but the nearest pub is at least a 20 minute walk away. Your choice
