Interesting looking pub with some nice traditional internal features. Nice water feature and sitting area on the way to the toilets. Had the Stowford which was a bit pricey. Piped rock music seems a bit out of character with the place though. Worth a peek.

Handsome old-style pub both outside and in. Limited choice of beers but friendly staff and well worth a visit.

Ye Olde Red Horse is a busy and fairly traditional town centre pub in Evesham. Its two rooms were packed whilst the Grand National was being shown on Saturday. Ales were Wells Bombardier, M & B Brew XI and Peerless Pale. Ciders were Addlestones and Thatchers Cheddar Valley. We sat in the bar on the right-hand side, as you enter. I've just read the previous review and it's possible there was another ale or even more than one in the other room. Toilets are outside, next to some fish in a pond. They share the space with smokers.

Sorry forgot to mention the same three ales are on sale on both sides.

I was here last Saturday early evening and I found it fine. There is a walk way down the middle leading to a Garden at the back. It’s a bit like being two pubs not one. The side on the right as you enter has 4 hand pulls with one for cider. The other three are Wells Bombardier, Everards Sunchaser and Brew XI which I tried and found to be OK @ £2.90 Went next door and had a pint of the Sunchaser @ £3.00 which was nice also.

Bland run of the mill pub. Brew XI was ok, nothing special. OK if passing, would not make a special effort to visit again.

It was okay and the Bew XI was drinkable but for me it had the feel of a chain pub.

Have always enjoyed dropping in, usually before a curry. Friendly staff, well kept beer, roaring fire (it was November!) Menu looks interesting, I think they pride themselves on their steaks. Slightly quirky, but none the worse for that.

2 room basic pub. Bass, Brew X1 and guest (Buckley's bitter on Wednesday this week) plus Cheddar cider on handpump. Beer and location were OK but nothing special.

Stopped in Evesham looking for B&B to break a journey. We looked at Ye Olde Red Horse but it didn't advertise rooms. A local in the street recommended us to try there. We did and had a fabulous night. Room very small but quainter than quaint but it was en-suite and clean. The pub decor was a bit eccentric and it suited us. Sitting in the bar we could smell our steaks on the charcoal grill. Pub grub like you used to get before all the food snobs took over the planet. All in all a 10/10 experience, friendly staff, decent prices and first class beers. Seemed like it was privately owned and run and thats probably why it was so sucessful. Ample public parking oposite. Would definetly go again and recommend to friends.

Seems a nice pub, was quiet when we called in on an afternoon but good beers and friendly staff, and some unique decor, made the visit well worthwhile.
