Decent and very popular locals bar. Limited choice of ales (London Pride & Jail Ale). Friendly service and reasonable prices.

This is the worst pub i have ever been in.
We must have caught it on a bad day as other comments don't reflect what i saw.
Very drunk kids in the front market bar, awful langauge, place stunk, flies everywhere, pint was awful and made me feel ill.

two room pub a front bar and a lounge. the lounge is one i went in. had a pint of draught bass which was poured well and a good pint in taste. the lounge was quiet. went to the toilets and notice their skittle alley at the back of the pub. when i left i notice the front bar was busy perhaps that is bar the locals drink in

Terraced pub, with white exterior and black paintwork. There is a beer patio in the alley way.

The interior had two rooms, a small bar and bigger lounge, where a country & western singer struggled with his music machine to knock out a tune or two, which to be fair was fine. The decor was red and white, with black beams and lots of 70s style brass ornaments. The service was friendly and it was busy enough with a mixed clientele.

Beer; apart from the usual tap stuff, there was Butcombe Bitter and Bass on handpull. The bitter was fine.

This is a decent enough place and i would happily return

Called in for lunch when passing through so picked pub at random. It's OK for what it is, friendly enough and fine as a local. Strange selection of beers, Broadside or Bass, when did you last see that? So nothing really for drivers but quality certainly OK.

Even in a town which has as limited a choice as Honiton, you could do better. Better than the Volley/Pig and Barrow though...
