please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

T&S aint certainly what they used to be. Five beers but the usual suspects Landlord, Black Shite sorry Sheep, Wells something or other, Everards Tiger and guest Ruddles bitter. Cant comment of beer quality as we didnt stop might as well walk 5 minutes further/less to the Valley or Cellars.

Used to be a good pub years back now a VERY expensive place to drink 3.05 for a pint of Landlord? And not well kept either!!

Called in and found they have stopped selling Old Rosie. Expected us to have Stowford Press instead. We left & found the W'spoon has Rosie. What a shame after coming here for 15 years when in the area - a Sunday routine of a pint, over the road to the eat-all-you-like Chinese, back for 2 more pints. Not any longer.

I've been told that the Tap has stopped selling Old Rosie and has had a character-spoiling makeover! Is it true?

Excellent pub. Good choice of beers on, the ones we had were kept in excellent condition. Excellent Sunday lunch for 2.99. Friendly bar staff.

Traditionally one of the best pubs in town - if not the best. A good selection of real ales and friendly service.

Had a great time in here. Friendly bar staff got us to take part in a pub quiz, which amazingly wasnt a chavy Eastenders, Big Brother, celeb pic, who is shaggin' who quiz, but had actual proper questions. Several teams took part. They served a bit of free food and there was a choice of real ales.

I agree with ROBCamra, it needs a little more work, but good luck to them.

Has a had a spruce up on the outside since our last visit. Needs some TLC on the inside as well though. Loads of handpumps but only Everards Tiger, Tetley Bitter and Adnams Bitter available. 3 rooms, wooden floors, stone walls, beer garden, it's got loads going for it but it just isn't really working at the moment. Needs a breath of life one way or the other.

Had few ups and downs over the last couple of years. At the moment it's not as good as it used to be, but not as bad as it's been either. Still sells a decent range of real ales, but a lot of the punters seem to have moved elsewhere, so it's not been that busy the last couple of times we've called in. Worth the short walk out of town for a good pint.

This is a lovely pub with a good selection of ales and friendly staff. Enjoyed chatting to the barman who knew his ales.

Good Pub plenty of guest Ales, current landlord in process of selling so who knows what lies ahead.

Only negative point is the gents which certainly could do with a hose down with some industrial strength bleech.
