Decent Hydes pub. Enjoyed a pint of the Owd Oak Dark. Nice surrounding and outside seating by the bowling green.

Quite a fan of this place. Last visited after the fireworks on 7 November -I think half of Timperley turned up when we did but the service remained good and I think it's quite a friendly place. The outdoor area is nice as well, for smokers or otherwise.

Hydes pub with excellent range of their beers, including Mild and seasonal ales, in great condition. Also had an U21 international match, so I presume has Sky Sports? Will revisit.

I find this a very cliquey pub, but it's the best in the area.

First time in this pub. I really liked it. The Ale was great, and the pub atmosphere was like pubs used to be. Cant wait to go back.

First time back in for ages after an enforced absence on the other side of the pennines. Just gets better and better. Did take a while to get served though, but excellent beer when it arrived.

is it my imagination or does the quarry seem to have a shortage of staff as service is slower,empties piling up on bar etc, no complaints about staff-just numbers serving.

Great pub with great bitter - beats the Stonies by miles. Vault can be packed at weekends, but a good atmosphere.

Great pub,good selection of hydes beer,used to be a nice place for a session where you could hear yourself talk,with no music, policy seems to have changed somewhat, went for a meal over the weekend and the plates were bouncing from the noise of a rock band playing in the pub (mind you not a bad band!)

Food seems to have gone downhill since new manager has taken over. Takes ages to get served and the beer nothing to smile about. Best thing to do is walk further down and go to the stonies

Average lounge, nice pint of Hydes. food a bit pricey, but I didn't eat so can't say bout quality. really nice bar though

I'm delighted to say that the new landlord has kept up the standards, the beer is better than ever (and it was good before), service spot on and a cracking quiz on a monday, I recommend it so much I'm upping my rating to 7!

Went for a meal with my boyfriend to the Quarry Bank and was very pleased with the service and the food. We didnt have to wait long and the quality of the food was lovely.

This pub has recently changed hands, although no major changes are planned , I note that the range of food has come down, I'll post again after the new Landlord has settled in.

Serves excellent beers, as well as brown and mild. a great venue, best pub in the area.

Nice pub big selection of food, can get a little too busy though takes a while getting served if your not a local.
Does have an old fashioned vault which is a rareity these days.
Beers not too bad either.
