£1.70 for a pint of real ale! In Lancaster! I hate Wetherspoons in general, but it's hard to resist at those prices.

Good for a Wetherspoon's - enjoyed a well-kept pint and there was little evidence of the benefits-dependent who frequently congregate in these establishments. Only downside was the time it took to get served, as the bar staff bustled up and down busily whilst avoiding catching my eye. An oasis compared to the previous evening when it had been impossible to reach the bar due to a large and oganised crowd of pissed and squealing new students busily swilling whatever alcohol they could get their hands on.

nice and friendly service as previously mentioned and a pretty decent pint of "corby blonde"guest ale at just 1.99 a pint nearly fifty pence a pint cheaper than my local spoons in bristol.quite an odd layout over two floors, this place is ideally situated if staying at the travelodge as its bang next door! 7/10

A Good pub burdened with all the typical stuff
Awkward Layout Awesome yet few staff And the typical sort of regulars associated with such a place

I agree with what has been posted.A very nice Wetherspoons, always friendly staff, and well supported.

Excellent , motivated staff on our recent Saturday night visit. If all the chain were like this............ Usual good value breakfast on the Sunday morning.

Nice wetherspoon, slightly better than the other one in lancaster, cheap food, cheap drink and a good mix of people!

The best of the two Wetherspoon venues in Lancaster City Centre. Plenty of space, food & beer meet the usual Wetherspoons standard which is OK. A meeting place early evenings near week ends for many 'doing the route' i.e. crawl. Mixed clientele from students to couples. Does get very busy around 9pm.
