This place has been renovated and reopened. It's more of a wine bar now and looks much better than before.

When this place was open, all it needed were swinging saloon bar doors and a piano player at the back that would stop playing as you enter, as the assembled throng stares in a threatening manner at you. A truly unpleasant bar. Hopefully they can sort it out and not make it a chav-magnet.

Best News Ever. Went past there today - sign in the window.
Closed Until Further notice - the Management. There is still a Christmas Tree up in the window. Best thing to happen to this place in years. It has not been the same since the decent landlords were kicked out by the brewery for having decent ideas ! Bring back the beach party !
Best thing to happen to this pub in the last 4 years was the day it closed

This pub is brilliant. Needs a revamp but the people are friendly and the staff polite, courteous and sexy! Lacks variety of drinks somewhat, however i recommend their sambuca!

Have a walk down the alley along side the pub. The pubs windows are smashed, the rain water pipes are blocked and overflow, the plastic waste pipes are broken, the gas meter housings are smashed, the alley is filthy and stinks of piss and to top it all we have seen two rats running up and down the alley. Drink there, I don't thinks so, eat there ... never!

Full of Chavs from the local Longmead or Watersedge. Not a relaxing place as u are always on your guard for flying fists/glasses/bottles etc.

Actually a laugh. If u actually sit down wiv the so called pikies ul realise they aint a bad bunch.always sum1 in there 2av a chat wiv and if u avoid the bogs ul like it.

Personally i think the previous comments are utter crap and these people have obviously not frequented of late!!!!! Great pub, with friendly atmosphere however needs a revamp!!!!!!!

Ever Since they sacked the old Landlord this place has gone downhill in a massive way. Highlight was when we filled the pub with sand for the beach party.... those were the good old days. Now I won't even go in there as the risk of getting a glass in your face is too high

This place couldn't be more pykie if it was situated in a layby off the A3! As long as you stay away from the pool table you should be safe enough though...
