Going past to-day, I noticed that major renovations are taking place but it is not apparent whether this going to open as a pub again.
|
Passed by to-day and this pub is boarded up and for sale. I feel another bock of flats coming on!

Not a great pub at all. Very Cliquey!

This pub has recently changed hands and has obviously been refurbished but the layout is unchanged. It is located just out of town, close to some traffic lights which makes access to the car park difficult. The main lounge is L shaped around the central bar. There is another small room at the far end which contains a pool table. It has 2 real ales, Fullers London Pride and Green King IPA but there was a third unused pump. Seating was comfortable. Mainly a working man's pub but none the worse for that.

very friendly family run pub.good home cooked food of ample portions.looks like its newly decorated and feels very pleasant.have been told its under new ownership and was very happy going there
|
spit and sawdust, grumpy sod of a landlord, chav hell, not at all welcoming, especially when the pikeys are shouting at the Chelsea/Arsenal game on TV
enter to feel welcome as VD - the 1 rating is for the pool table when it's not got under age drinkers spilling beer over it

What a horrendous pub this is. If you can call it that ! locals are all so cliqy, not very welcoming not to mention the fact that it more resembles a crack den than a pub
|
good but not that good.
