It used to be the best pub in the village and there was a hope it would re-open - am just confirming that as it is now occupied as a dentists that is now not likely to happen. Toddington was a good place to go for a crawl but half of it's pubs have now closed.

Unlikely to return to being a pub a sit is now been converted into an NHS dentists.
Dropped into the nearby Griffin for a pint but it isn't listed on here

Wonderful pub, good beer. Unfortunatley didnt have time to sample food, but menu looked very tempting.
Also the Dogs were lovely !

A special "real" pub for good ale, excellent good value food and you never know what to expect,it could be quiet or jam packed, live music (of any type)happens as and when, mummers/morris men turn up now and then, dogs bark, people talk and laugh. There is a popular banquet room upstairs, lovely garden for the summer, roaring fires in the winter, bed and breakfast rooms available. Can you tell Im a local and love this pub, check out their website for more info.

Roger has sadly passed away but Sue is carrying on the traditions of great banquets, fine ale and good company.

Pubs may come and go but the "Sow" goes on forever. The Greene King beer is always immaculate, and Roger gets more laid-back by the day.
It's the only place where someone (NOT me) sat and drank their ale and read the paper all through a large brown paper bag on their head. It's that kind of place. Not posh, but quirky and snug and inviting.

Has been in every Good Beer Guide. Its a great place. Intimate, quirky, fantastic beer and a legendary manager - Roger. Fantastically friendly fella... just don't let him get started on the piano.
