It`s an alright kind of pub but a bit yesterday if you know what I mean, sort of reminds me of those Firkin pubs in the 1980`s. It ticks a lot of the boxes, cheap prices, reasonable food, pro barstaff and I shouldn`t say it but their own brand ale tasted pretty good, It`s a starter pub for the Blastbeaters.

Very cheap and even beating the wetherspoons next door for price. Nice John Smiths at 1.45.

Sweaty drinkers pub. Quick service but zero atmosphere. Pro drinkers abound. At least its not full of diners.

Agree with G man - an excellent place to go for a few warm-up beers in Solihull. Far superior to Weatherspoons next door.

The best pub in Solihull without a doubt, especially on Sundays!!

this is a fantastic pub, they do an excellent FREE buffet for parties of more than ten (as long as you give them 24 hours notice) - the staff are really friendly as are most of the locals. Tends to get very busy when there is a football match on but plenty of screens. My one complaint is that someone sole my coat from there last saturday night. Oh, and they also removed the "top of the pops" quiz machine for one i consider to be of a lower quality

Fine for a daytime pint. Last time I went waitresses were were wandering around the pub taking orders and bringing the drink to your table.

Nice for a Sunday pint. Foods OK and the staff couldn't be nicer.
