In here last Saturday lunch time and not bad
2 hand pumps with guess what GK IPA
But the other one had Wolf Brewery Straw Dog which was very nice @ �3.00 pint.

Once again under new management, this tells its own story.

A new owner took over a couple of months ago and the place is now vastly improved.
There are doorstep sandwiches available behind the bar (so, you won't have to wait 45 minutes now - see review below). They also do a wide range of other food lunchtimes and evenings.
They are also now open all day and are the only pub in Haverhill to have Magners on tap.

Only one word can be used to anyone thinking of drinking in this place...

45 minute wait for a sandwich. Understandable if it were busy but there was only me in the place..
When it came the food was reasonable but for that price I would expect it to be more than reasonable, I'd expect it to be bloody fantastic..
Beer was appalling. Sorry, but this has to be one of the worst pints of ale I've tasted. Utterly undrinkable, and to be told "well I dont know, I only serve it" hardly inspires you with confidence.
Just a one off trip, but if thats the kind of attention to detail they offer then I am afraid the new owners wont be lasting that long.
