When you pay that much for food you expect good food and excellent service. I'm afraid neither are on offer here!!! Ok I might be being a little harsh, considering I've been in once but thats how bad it was.

Busy but pleasant after-work atmosphere though service is usually OK. Mate of mine popped in on Saturday afternoon with his wife and small child and was made most welcome. Much improved over the years

I agree with the pretentious comment but, I took the wife there for the valentines special last year and was delighted with the food and wine - although the bill was a bit high. More recently I've stopped in a couple of pints and they were fine but you can get better in town!

I love this pub! Since the re-furb it's really classy. Stylish interior, friendly service, home cooked food at a good price. It's definately lost all it's pretention...and at 3 a pint, it's pretty well priced for Grey Street. Check it out!

Cant get away with this place. Full of w**kers who think because they pay 4 a pint their better then everyone else. Very expensive and pretentious. Avoid!

Pretentious and expensive. Didn't feel at all relaxed - horrible

Used to be a pretentious restaurant here with some of the most miserable staff going; now it's a strange place. Free (low quality) caviar on a Friday night and a clientele that looks like a mix between the grown up Bigg Market crowd who want to avoid their 16 year-old offspring in their old haunts, and that strange out of town crowd who confuse free caviar with 'good' or 'style'.

Overpriced and pretentious, and the Amstel gave me darting stomach pains. Won't be going back.

Visited for the first time 4th April 2005. Friendly staff, food was excellent both bar and A la carte. Expensive, yes but good quality.

if you don't mind re-mortgaging you're house for a night out it is quite simply the classiest bar in town. great staff, great food and a chilled atmosphere. thoroughly recommended.

So refreshing, ultra stylish yet unthreatening and friendly. By far one of the best bars in town. The food is outstanding and the free caviar at the weekend is amazing!
