A delightful hostelry, in an idyllic rural setting. Traditional cask ales, and country fayre to delight the senses. The friendly local characters, such as the squire and gamekeeper are a always welcoming, and will enteretain you with local folklore, or songs in front of the roaring open fire. If you are particularly lucky you may get to see the traditional Castle Vale Morris Dance. This apparently dates to Pre Christian times, and involves the participants hitting each other over the head with heavy objects.

Keep the SKYLARK open..it keeps all the gangster scum and drug dealers out of other pubs in the area. Wouldn't go in there for any amount of money. Anonymous comment was either sarcasm, or posted by the licensee!
