Now refurbished and re-opened (some 2 years ago) as Apres. Modern bar and very popular

Didn't say it was good! you just don't get the socks tucked in trackies and lizzie duke earring crowd in here.

If you've got more money than sense - give it to me. Failing that - give it to Joot/Apres. Either you'll cringe at the bunch of art-hugging middle-flyers who frequent this red world, or you'll love shmoozing with your irrelvant yupster pals.

Interior looks like a Wimpey Bar. Not a lot of soul, the old Joott, was seedy but quite happy go lucky. Door policy and pricing presumably an attempt to discourage visitors from Cannock.

Re-opened as 'APRES'..... well, it's ok i guess - if you want somewhere not full of tracksuit divs all night. Trouble is, it's bloody expensive & a 'selective' door ploicy leaves you in danger of chatting up very young looking girls!!!.... thats if you can get past the lichfield chicks' 'little princess' syndrome..... and its migraine-inducingly red in there!
Take out a mortgage before you go in.

One of a string of new posers bars in this area. This one used to be a Poundland type shop years ago, and has now been transformed into an ugly fake bar on two levels, selling overpriced booze in an atmosphere of over loud rave music. The name is an acronym from "Just one of those things." Unfortunately there's not just one of them, there's several of these holes in the area, (Lloyds No1, Chameleon Bar e.t.c.) and they're all equally awful!
