As previously stated, a very pleasant pub in an area of quite outstanding ugliness. Like a lovely village pub in the middle of a vision of hell.

Having failed to locate a bus stop in North Ealing to reach this pub, I was really happy to finally get here after enduring the Hanger Lane Gyratory as a pedestrian and after already having visited 14 other pubs. I've lost track as to how many Fullers pubs I visited that day. But this was yet another one. It also offers accommodation. The long bar acts as a barrier to provide 2 separate drinking areas. But the pub had a little more character than I initially expected. Spanish football was being shown on one TV in the corner. Pride, ESB & Red Fox were the beers.

This is a nice pub in a shocking location. Ignore the traffic and enjoy the large Fullers establishment and all it has to offer.

An agreeable Fuller's pub, despite being in the shadow of the grimy Hanger Lane Gyratory.

If you're coming by car, don't be put off by the barrier at the car park entrance. The car park is free. The staff will give you the exit code when you order drinks or food at the bar.

I live 2 mins walk from this place but rarely drink there - only because I go where my mates go not for a negative reason. It is attractive from the front, has a lovely beer garden, and some good ales. Went there for the first time in years with family for a meal this weekend. There were 3 menu choices so was very limited but guess that kept it simple in the kitchen. For a Sunday, really not busy which was surprising. There was a private function elsewhere in the building so bar was busy. Two family members had the Honeydew beer and said it was excellent. Food was very good for basic pub grub - well cooked, good portions and served very quickly. Veggies did not look as if they had been boiled to death and roasties were crisp and tasty. We would go back!

I had a couple of pints in this large pub yesterday evening and was served by a very friendly barman. Pride, ESB, Honeydew Keg, Stella, Kronenburg and Guinness were all available from the double sided bar. It was pretty busy for the Portugal v Czech Republic game which was being shown on a couple of plasma screens.

As mentioned before there is a nice beer garden to the rear and a few benches at the front, but youd be mad to sit out the front unless you have an interest in watching and listening to cars and vans fly past at high speed.

Id pop in again if I was walking past, but that is highly unlikely.

Stayed in the attached hotel (excellent!) for a couple of days, so this was my temporary local. Standard Fuller's food menu, decent prices, well-kept beer and a friendly crowd. The only downside was the limited range of beers; they did't have any of the usual milder selections like Chiswick or Explorer, much less a guest beer. Very much worth a visit if you're in the area.

This was my local for two years in London and probably the only pub serving reasonable real ale anywhere in the vicinity.

The location (On the main Ealing-Harrow road) is pretty difficult to appreciate, although as previous posts have mentioned there is a beer garden out the back.

Nevertheless, reasonably well-kept beer and a good, if standard Fullers menu make it worth a visit if you are in the area and at a loose end for places to eat. As with many London pubs, the staff are a cosmopolitan collection which change with regularity. good, friendly service, though, and always made to feel welcome upon my visits there. Beer selection encompasses three to four real ales plus 1845 in bottled form. Recommend, especially given the alternatives in the area.

A nice looking pub from the front, bit off putting being on the main road, but go around the back and there is a lovely beer garden, a great spot to spend the evening! Food is great & so is the beer, locals are friendly.

This was my local near my old work place, went there last week for an evening drink and it was pretty much dead in there...its always like this except Friday nights when the local companies crowds go in there to start the weekend up. Average pub!

Traffic thunders by here on what must be one of the country's busiest roads. It's a Fuller's place but not very pubby. This was a quiet weekday-evening, though I imagine this place is planned for industrial-scale customer-handling, with a double-sided bar and pleasantly bustling staff. The menu is medium-cuisine and, sadly, the veggie-ravioli (more like pierogi) arrived tepid on an unheated plate. The 11.25 bottle of house-red is harsh but then that's its job; to get you to order something decent next time. If such time there be.
