Fithy, dismal and poorly led. Female manager shalane? told me to f off after we complained the ale was off....... called the area manager but he's not called back now after a week. well done hungry horse, another great pub.

Pretty poor. Takes ages to get served as only one side of the bar is functional. It does have a telly, so you can watch the football. Other than that...no good. Abbot and IPA are well kept though.

Absolutely dreadful. The staff are rude and unhelpful, the food is dire, the prices are too high for what's on offer, the selection of beers is poor. There's just nothing to recommend this place, not even a good atmosphere. If you want a good pub around that area, go for the Britannia or the Royal Standard, both are classier, friendlier and cheaper.

Excellent atmosphere and always busy. Very large and food is served late. Lots of the local university students have it as a favourite watering hole, but their antics remain dignified!The staff are even worth a chat to.
