Not been a pub for some time. Now it is to open as a tapas restaurant called Vida Comida. It hasn't been worth a visit for a LONG while.

Went past yesterday, and noticed that the window-frames had been freshly painted. Looked fairly bright inside too - I wonder if, for the first time in many years, this pub might be fit to use! Will venture in on my next visit.

Oh dear, why did I bother. Stuck my head in last time I was in Sherborne and the place is an open toilet. It should be closed down.

Oh dear! Definitely gone downhill. Despite a refurb, still a dive.

BobOs - how true you are! Beer worse than ever, and food was disgusting.

Funny how a pretty good pub can be turned into a rough dive in a few years. I've been in a couple of times recently but the place now seems like an overflow of druggies and yobs from the Cross Keys down the road. The beer was awful as well - it won't get a third chance from me!

Truly appaling. There must be some good pubs in shermorne but I couldn't find one.This wasn't the worst by any means, but it was still poor in every respect.

Live music was excellent! We were surprised to see night live in a small town!

Gave this place a second chance recently as I felt my first comments may have been a little on the strong side.
It was dire, the beer was even crap this time and the place smelt like one big ash tray and was filthy dirty. One to avoid.

Was there for my birthday.. with friends and family.. we were there for the Thursday night Kareoke everyone loved it. the Atmospere and the staff are great

Hadn't been in here for years and was pleasantly surprised to start with. Nice and airy, good ale, cheerfull barmaid and quite a bit of character to the place. However, as the evening wore on the talking picture in the corner got louder the music got crapper and the place started to fill up with rough looking kids who looked as if they were all spoiling for a fight. I think this would be a cracking lunchtime venue but aim to give it a big swerve in the evenings from now on.

WENT ON YOUR POSTING TONY AND YOU ARE VERY TRUE...HAD A BUSINESS MEETING IN THE AFTERNOON..EXCELLENT FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! TOOK MY CLIENTS IN AT THE WEEKEND AND THE LIVE MUSIC WAS SECOND TO NONE...WILL BE BACK

Nice town centre pub. Good food at reasonable prices.
