The Red Lion is renamed KTM ROX. Nought to do with motorbikes but has a Nepalese theme I.e. KTM is the code for Katmandu airport, as is LHR for London Heathrow. No real ale but Oriental food and fizzy keg beers available.
|
Has been re named "KTM ROXI" whatever that means. Big banner outside says Now Open Bar & Kitchen" I did not go in as I like to stick to real ale if possible.
|
Recently reopened, and has gone upmarket - cocktails and whiskies and craft beers, oh my! Eclectic design including a chandelier made of spirit bottles. Looks from the main drag as though it's still closed but it is in fact open. Clientele is varied and the atmosphere is friendly.

This place is now closed

There are consistent rumours abound that this pub is to become a Chinese restaurant in a few weeks time? I also heard it was closed for a week a few months back due to 'substance' trading. Just hope this clientele does not transfer to the Moon on the Square. Shame, Red Lion's an old pub from the good old days when Feltham was a rural settlement.

Walked in 2 kids 1 lady with me for a bite to eat and there was fight between gippos and staff. Avoid.

Good God!!!!

one of the best pubs in Feltham. I went there with a few girlfriends one friday and we had a really great night. Very friendly staff and the landlord ( i was told hasn't been in charge long) seemed like a lovely guy too. It was also a karaoke night (a weekly event) was a total hoot , the host was very accommadating to us novices .and we were made to feel very welcome . my only crumble was the drinks prices but compared to london/club places it was fair to middling. all in all a good pub and me & my friends will definatly return
|
The Red Lion now has a great newly-revamped beer garden with new grass and paved areas with tables and umbrellas. Just in time for the summer! Keep up the good work Jerry & Kelly! :-)

A clicky unwelcoming pub. Punters stared as i walked in and continued to stare and make me feel that it was wrong to be there the whole time i was supping my pint. Even sitting 20 metres away from the toilets wouldn't stop the overwhelming scent of urine from stinging your nostrils !! I ventured out into the garden and quickly retreated inside as there looked liked 2 seperate groups of equally chavy fowl mouthed youngsters throwing verbal abuse at each other and looking like it was going to become physical. A nice looking pub from the outside but so very disappointing on the inside. Beer glass was dirty and the young lady the other side of the bar scratching and picking at her head put me off ordering any food. Such a shame as this pub is in walking distance from my work and home and would of gladly made it my local. It needs some money put into doing up the interior and also some money spent on some bouncers to kick out the mouthy out of control chavs and i bet u this pub would be a winner with some more "decent" folk in there. So much potential but being run into the ground and quickly gaining the name of the worst pub in feltham !!!
|
Chav central. It's a shame really because The Red Lion is one of the few buildings left in Feltham of any architectural note.
|
To many youngsters i went in there the other sunday week, felt unwelcome when i walk in there for a nice quiet pint, got stare at i think he was some irish geezer, and started arguing with two other men. After a while he started shouting at everyone else, and i could see things were about to kick of so i got out of there, i left most of my pint. (i want my money back).

Nice to see a lot more families in the pub of recent times. My daughter enjoys playing in the garden with the guvnor's kids when she's over, and has made friends with other kids that visit with their parents.
There is a noted presence of more females drinking in the pub too which takes away some of the "old mans' pub" that used to stigmatise the Red Lion. Much improved. Keep up the good work!

Pleasant local's pub in Feltham High Street, which has welcoming management and staff. Good food, Sky 3D Sports / ESPN tv, beer garden, karaoke, race nights, pool and darts. Right across the road from my flat... No real ales, but overall, a very good pub and one of only 2 remaining in the town centre.
|
The pub looks nice from the outside, downside is its full of chavs and the gold hoop brigade. First and only time there a fight broke out and Landlord is not that friendly.
|
Unlike the terrible Moon on the Square this pub gives Feltham what it needs, a decent local. It's got a nice garden, ample seating, good food and Sky sports in HD and 3D. The only thing it really lacks is a range of ales but I won't hold the pub responsible for that.
A great pub full of character and friendly staff. Without doubt the best pub in Feltham.
|
I can recommend the food... Phoebes's Kitchen Thai is great!
|
As for living in feltham all my life and going to this pub i do not like the landlord, very rude and arrogant and stands outside the pub most of the night only letting people in if their face fits. Also expensive prices !
|
Took my parents here as they helped me move down. Looked nice from the outside and also Sky Sports, good beers and a pool table.
What ruined the night was the kids in the corner who all seemed to have torretts. The language was foul.
May not bother goign back.

Karaoke???? How about the real ale/beer? 'beerintheevening' What's wrong about all female bar staff??
|
I go here every Friday night for Karaoke...or at least I did until last Friday when the NEW landlord changed it to once every 2 weeks. Friendly atmosphere nice people but not keen on new landlord who has employed female only bar staff..I give him 6 months and fingers crossed he will have gone!! x The karaoke here is the best as it has more than 70000 tracks. If you are looking for a good professional karaoke give this pub a try! x

This old pub has had a fortune spent on it recently. It has witnessed demographic changes in Feltham over 150+ years. Hopefully this will continue.
|
Manager was fired last week for stock losses and after hours drinking. Traded for a few days without a designated premises supervisor too!

Pub re-opened Friday after extensive refurbishmnet outside and inside. Nice clean, light and airy atmosphere. New landlord hoping to put good selection of real ales in.
|
the girl with dark hair here who does karaoke is the best around. bitter was poor

This is funny, because I did visibly notice how quiet the Red Lion has been recently and the comment below validates the reason why. Seems to have been overrun by Irish and their mates.
Having said that, it seemed OK on the inside at least - Service was good and the pub didn't seem too unchanged so would be intrigued to see why and where the Feltham regulars have gone.

The Red has been under new managment since the beginning of 2006. I cannot give positive reviews anymore, since the departure of old management, new staff have been employed and many of the locals have chosen to choose other pubs in the area such as the Moon on the Square and the Rose & Crown. The Red Lion has lost its friendly atmosphere, we sometimes feel unwelcome, cutting our evenings short to drink else where.
|
better than it was, but they need to clean up the garden - The grass is covered in fag butts and dog shit, and the benches are stinking. A shame as the inside of the pub is fine.

Friendly staff, great live music, great kareoke, good service, pool table, great pub!
|
It could be argued that this is currently the best pub in Feltham! All the others are really rotten and this one is average, so it must be the best...

Has been a pub on this site for 100 years, hence surprised not on this site yet. Has a decent selection of beers, a pub garden and a pool table, and the staff are reasonably friendly.
However, due to it's location right in the middle of Feltham, it has some "interesting" clientele during the evening - Hence I would not really recommend a night out in there...
