NB's, Northamptonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
2 words: Weird and Trashy. This place has had so many name changes i lose count. Tabasco Jazz, Dedcadence, NB's. I used to go here frequently as a student on mondays for BOGOF, even though i wasn't a big fan. Music is Cheesy/RnB. Drinks are borderline pricey and the beer is poor. The bar is split into 3 rooms, one is only opened at the weekends which is like a dancefloor. the other two are the main bar and a cocktail bar. This place is weird because it has a plastic styled gothic decor and toilet cubicles that are made of battered wood. If your lucky you will see them on their hinges. Apart from all that i still like this place. In the summer it has a fancy heated beer garden with bar and barbeque.

been going to nbs for years - i remember when it was tabasco jazz, and then decadance...ahh, them were the days....
nbs is pretty good, especially if you're into your typical chart music (although the djs are usually dying to try out something different, given half the chance).
there aren't three rooms playing a different type of music - there is two rooms with a different DJ (although one room isn't always open) and the cocktail bar which is a separate room, but has no music of it's own.
The cocktails are great, especially if there's a few of you as the more you buy the cheaper they are. The drinks aren't too badly priced, and the staff are generally pretty sound.
It's a good place to get into the mood for a club, or on a Sunday it's a perfect alternative to those who don't fancy the dreded Time and Envy.

Nbs is a great pub, they play brilliant muic and it not as expensive as some other ones in northampton. O yeah and the toilets are funky!

clientle seem ok, not many "rudeboys" or chavs which is nice.
service wasnt great, when i asked for a bottle of beer the look on the barmans face would have suggested i had told him to eff off,
