Another GBG listed pub close to Ann of Cleaves. Smaller though with two bars Bar & Lounge. 4 Hand pumps Everards Tiger, Original and Beacon plus a guest. I tried the Beacon which was quite nice @ 2.85 a pint.

More of a pub, with bar and lounge half, than the Anne of Cleves. The Tiger was much better in here though still not top form.

1.65 for a cordial and the landlady was short with me. No wonder we have a drink crisis in the NHS.

everards pub showcasing their range,i opted for a pint of tiger and me mate opted for a pint of beacon, both were perfectly kept although being everards were also pretty dull, nice enough pub though and friendly service,5.50 for the sound 6/10

My husband and I have just been in The Crown and new tenants have taken over in the last week or so and they were friendly and there was nice atmosphere, will definately be going back in there. Ale's were good price and tasted like they were well kept, food was delicious. 10 out of 10 all round.

I must have gone in on an off day - the landlord was downright rude and it was 3 for a pint - I don't call that cheap and won't be going back!

excellent pub, great range of real ales (although I would avoid the super-chilled Tiger) and aways a very warm welcome from the landlord. The lunchtime snacks and meals are good value too.
