This pub has just been refurbished. When I was passing it was there an opening party going on for friends and family but instead turning us away we were allowed to join them. A very friendly couple now runs it and the food was very good with a large free salad bar which was very nice.

Needs to sort out it's prices and I'm sure it would get a lot more custom.

If your name is Bill Gates or even Richard Branson, you might just be able to affords to drink here. Pub not too bad bit the prices!!!

Ive read the other reviews and I think I must have been in another Falcon. Clean and tidy and the beer is ok, so Im told but very ordinary place. To add insult to injury I was in there with a few friends a few weeks ago and the barman called last orders at ten oclock because he had to be up early to clean the place. Never heard anything like it, what time do they open? Five in the morning? Cant take any pub seriously that closes at ten, never mind the Boundary was full of pissed off customers.

interesting interior but lacks a spark. rarely that busy. usually has about 2-3 beers on show.

An excellent pub, warm and friendly staff that are happy to help whatever the weather. Great food, great ales, and of course an absolutely excellent sunday night quiz. Top Notch.

A fantastic pub with great food and friendly staff. I used to spend the majority of my evenings in the Bull not too far from here. However on my first visit to the Falcon I was so impressed by the service and the atmosphere that I have never gone elsewhere. I have been a regular at this pub for over 3 years now and I can honestly say that I would never wish to drink anywhere else on a regular basis. As good a range of real ales as any, a warm, traditional feel to the decor and a fantastic barfood menu. Top marks
