Made the mistake of popping in here one Saturday evening with a mate looking to round of the night. Prices reflect those charged in Central London and the patrons look as though they have been rejected by The Only Way is Essex. Would not return, perhaps I'm just getting old!

We decided to avoid the usual bars in Bromley in the hope we would get a better class of night out but the wine was shoddy for the 13 a bottle price tag and then we were rushed out only 30 mins after ordering due to their lack of customers. Not subtlety either we had a drunk girl come over to tell us to 'finish up' from 9.30pm, we felt hurried and went to the wetherspoons down the road, we will no go back, no wonder this venue has changed hands so often.

Had such a lovely time! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It's like being in central London without all the hassle of travelling.
Nice and relaxing and we loved the choice of cocktails. The food was nice too and served quickly.
I will definately be returning!

I always forget about the Ivory Lounge. it is by far the smartest and coolest bar in town. I am glad it is still going. When I go there it never seems to be that busy. it's a shame as it really is a very nice environment to drink and relax with friends.
I agree, it is expensive and I only stay for a pint before going to the much busier (but not necessarily better) Lloyds Bar just down the road. You get a hell of a lot more for you money in Lloyds.
I too hate the toilet attendants. it makes the whole experience of going to the loo pretty intimidating.

Not a bad place to be honest. Nice Peroni on tap, and Guinness, just a bit expensive. Nice to have some fairly decent tapa's from here as well. No ale which is a shame. Please get rid of the toilet attendant though, I have never struggled to turn on a tap, and don't need the help!

Very attractive modern pub/lounge just off the high street. A good mixed crowd on weekdays, but can get a busy at weekends. Plenty of seating, very good food menu. Can;t believe how cheap the beer is - 3.10 for a pint of Kroenburg, nearly as cheap as Wetherspoons. No real ales, and they would really prefer to serve cocktails all day. Only problem is getting served - not many bar staff, and those there seem to want to find anything else to do but serve drinks. If you're willing to wait, this is a good one. Recommended.

This bar is well and truly open. it is the previous Henry's bar that has closed.
A drinking associate and i have tried the Ivory Lounge on a number of occasions since it opened only a few months ago.
it is a very modern and stylish bar. the layout is very different from the previous Henry's Bar with the bar being in a different location. The bar has a very relaxed but mature atmosphere. on all the times i have been there there hasn't been any bouncers or any dress code imposed. however i haven't been there at the weekend. to be honest the mature atmosphere gives the impression that the customer is able to make their own mind up to what they wear which is a breath of fresh air in a place like this. it also suggests that their isn't any trouble here.
it's amusing to hear that the Ivory Lounge in Bexlyheath has a very draconian dress and entry policy. i wonder why? the places seem worlds apart.
Also the bar has some very impressive out door pavement seating which will be great in the summer evenings. it gives the place a more continental feel.
on the down side the bar can get a bit crowded so it can take a while to get served. if you are into ale then this place will disappoint, Guinness is the closest you will get.
This is the smartest bar in Bromley but with a very laid back atmosphere for such a new venue.

This bar closed a while back and is now an Ivory Lounge. Bromley, you lucky things!

Attended a friends leaving drinks from work in May. Half the firm turned up well over two grand spent on the night. Staff rude, bouncers rude and the manergeress when we complained? You guessed it rude. If you like being treated like s**t then this is the bar for you. Steer well clear unless you have had a frontal lobotomy

New manager hasn't made any difference. Still agree with all the prior comments.

Today was the first time I have eaten in Henry's for around a year. We all enjoyed our food, the service was very friendly and the premises was much cleaner than it has been for some time.
I know there has been a new manager appointed recently and this seems to have lifted standards significantly..I will be visiting much more often now.

Last time I visited there was water dripping through the ceiling, with no signs or anything to warn people. Can get very smoky. On a Friday night there was generally a young clientele.

Used to be a great place for food and drinks and gone down quite a lot. A fine selection of beers/Wines and Cocktails served by unfriendly bunch of girls. Cleanliness is not key in this bar and makes you wonder about the standard of food! Nice place to come when not busy.

Mediocre.

ordered food that took too long to arrive, drinks were brought up that were wrong, staff seemed bored, used to be ok here, not any more.

Over-priced bar where the cocktails need to be looked up from a book. Very few customers when I visited in the evening, probably due to the awful young girls behind the bar who couldn't seem to cope. Choice of drinks limited, especially in the beer department - probably deliberate. Customers appeared reasonable, door staff very professional and friendly.

More expensive than most pubs in Bromley, however this kept the kiddies away, but they seem to have reduced the prices somewhat recently. Nightmare when packed, quite pleasant when you can move in there. Not a great choice of drink, but at least they don't run out of lime!

Expensive. Awfull choice of beer - no propper beer at all, just that John Smith's Smooth (which is worth avoiding at the best of times). At lunchtime, staff over-crawl when you are eating, I assume hoping for a large tip.

Good drinks good food and no Bromley boys wanting to kill each other.
