I really like this pub. We used to call it 'The Slaughtered Lamb' because of the VERY 'locals only' (I've only been living in the village for 11 years!!!) vibe but since it came under new management I really enjoy stopping in for a quiz, rocking out to the bands and having a tasty pint or G&T.

A very nice pub, situated in the village of werrington, i always find a better class of patrons in this place. The ale is always good, the barstaff are always paying attention to the job they do, and a good friendly atmosphere.
Only ever had one bit of bother in here, but the person causing the trouble gave up in the end, when he realised nobody was interested. Apart from that a bloody good pub!!!!!!!!!

I'm biased, as it used to be my local. Friendly, basic locals boozer. No food ( other than cheese or ham rolls ). Classic irish landlord, and great characters drinking here. Best ( and busiest ) pub in the village by far.
