Fountain Inn, Plumpton Greenback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now under new management, this pub is definitely up and coming. Standard of Youngs ales is high and they've just introduced a guest ale too. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced.

Its in a village, and survives on local trade, and sells beer. What do you think its going to be like? There is nothing wrong with having outside toilets. It keeps the smells away from the pub! What is this obsession with having loos right next to you in the pub or down in the basement?

Popped in late one night, too full of beer to try the Youngs (not my fave anyway) but thought it was an OK local, and actually, even if the toilets are outrside, if they are smelly it is best that they are not inside, and where are the kids (or anybody else) supposed to smoke these days.

not really a good place to go , dark and dusty , smelly OUTSIDE toilets , kids outside the door in the porch smoking - YUK !

Lovely village pub with friendly bar staff and manager. Good food with variation from the full Sunday roast to the egg, ham and chips. Great atomosphere and definitely worth a visit!
|
This is our local pub, only 10 mins walk. Recent change hasn't done much good to it. No food, no atmosphere, only the weekly waiting for fish&chips is worth the visit.

behave london , its not that good

Great place to come before racing. Very friendly management, log fire, a proper English breakfast to kick-off a long days' drinking in style. Well worth the walk up from the station.
