This bar has closed now, thank god but a new bar called q has taken its place. Was a bit dubious at first but it is so much better than ice, totally different and no more bullies on the front door. Wicked music, trust me, try it! Best night out in Reading at the moment

Unfortunatly blokes assume if your on the dancefloor, this is an open oppertnity to touch you up. way too crowded. some very bad music. drunken girls falling over. not pleasent

Not a pub....but a club, a crap one at that! This place is proper budget, yet they charge high prices on non student nights!! In fairness if you�re a student and smashed (min. 20 units before leaving), on a student night then its ok, just! But any other day of the week this place really sucks, and is full of chavs and clearly the birds idol Jade Goody! As for the building itself, weird design and layout, very cold as the bouncers insist on leaving the doors open. Avoid this place, your best bet would be to give up on the idea and head down to the Hobgoblin, now that�s a pub to be proud of!

Odd bouncers wouldn't let me in because I had a polo shirt with a logo on the breast pocket. Strange door policy! Wasn't eager to go anyway

Oh, this is just hideous! By the far the most downmarket and unmemorable bar (in Reading) that I�ve had the misfortune to visit. The music is uncharacteristic pap, and most of the teenage unsophisticated occupants do nothing do boost the ambience of this lacking and unoriginal establishment.

if i have to pay to get in, i would expect decent music with a loud sound system and resonable prices with a good atmosphere- doesent deliver any of this...

They play r&b, bit of chart. Service at bar could be alot better.
Should not have to pay to get in tho.

No characher,dangerously busy,cheesy music,no escape from music,perferred it as the square.Was there on sat and i have never been to such a busy bar, it took me 40mins to get a drink and took me 20mins to get out of the place from upstairs!

An agreeable place with a ncie anough atmosphere. Music good, drinks reasonable. Go at least once to have a look. No real personality or escape from the loud music. Preferred it as square if i'm honest.
