The home of east end veteran 'mo'. Interesting character, most common question ' who was the last person to score a penalty in an FA cup final'. Friendly bar staff, good for the football.

Me and the girls went in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime last week and we were very pleased. Had 2 meals for under 7 and a bottle of wine for under 5 and we were in and out in under 45 minutes. We will definetely be back with quick service like that.

Wow what a change! I was in here a few years back and it wasnt the most inviting of places. I heard it had changed so i thought i'd give it a go again and was pleasantly surprised. The food we had was great and the staff were pleasant and very attentive. I had the best pint of Bombardier i've had in a while too! Well done!

Ooops - I meant Shut!

Have popped by a few times recently on my way home from work since it changed from beinga rubbish Yates's - Not to bad to be honest, the beer is cheap, I'm quite partial to a pint of Becks Veir and it's only 2.09 in here which is prety good. Staff are pleasant enough and the food isn't to bad at all and again is reasonably priced. Seems to shit early though, the bell rings at 22.00 - I guess this is a blessing in disguise really as I can get home before midnight!!

Now seems to have a coupla more real ales on tap. Youngs and one other which escapes me. Not a pubby pub but OK to watch Chelsea winning yet again.
|
This place is full of ghetto trash, avoid.
|
Saw the second half of the mighty Chelsea vs the lowly Bordeaux last night. Not many people in but good view of teh big screen and good sound, lots of smaller screens dotted around. Only John Smith's on tap. OK.
|
This place used to be full of pick pockets and perfect for a punch up of a Friday night.
The foods ok prices are average for Stratford.
Havent been there for enarly a year so could have improved but cant see how

Pub has made a quite a few improvements, most days seems packed and full of vibe, some other days it can be quite dull, but the dull times can be relaxing if want to have a quiet drink to think to yourself
|
I havent been for a while, but i find a drink early evening its great and the bar staff very friendly, as a night spot not my cup of tea, gets very packed but with a friendly vibe, and has good secruity which is needed for the locality foods pretty good also

Not been in ther for years after my drink got spiked and knew nothing about the night before!!! hope it is changed but dont think I want to find out thanks.

More of a bar than a pub on fri/sat nights.. Gets absolutely packed at the weekends! Love hip hop/RnB and some bashment and it caters for all.. Wicked local bar!

went into pub, seems ok, not perfect, was not very packed, very dark, not much light inside, ok pub
|
obviously the comment below was made by some one who is not able to use the venue or possibly a pub manager who has lost his trade to this bar, how narrow minded can you be. its also obvious you have a problem with the colour of the people who use it.'blood'!!

Well those reviews sum it up for me... 4 Aftershocks 6.00, Garage, Bashment, Hip-Hop CHEAP DRINKS. They gotta discount and play crap music cos nobody goes in there in the week. DESPERATION CITY with ASBO's... BLOOD!.... RESPEC'...'TING !

Visited this pub last Friday. Very impressed. Security was friendly. Best DJ i've heard in ages and takes requests (thanks for playing Maxwell for my girls!) Drinks were alot cheaper than the Yates in Leicester sq. (4 aftershocks for me & co for 6 instead of well over 10). Was definitely worth the door charge.

This pub has really picked up some local style. It still attracts the usuals but its my local and its a place to chill out at. Friday nites are the place to be with ur garage, bashment, rnb, hip hop and reggae. The local hangout that welcomes everyone.
