A bit of a walk along from the centre (there is a land train along the front that will take you most of the way). Had plenty of brews on and it appears an ever changing rotation of ales. More like a seafront hotel bar than a pub - overlooks the sea and you can sit outside. Worth the trek up from town for.

First night of 2 in Bridlington and I have 2 pubs to tick from the 2015 GBG.
My first port of call is the rather surprising Marine Bar which is part of the Expanse Hotel.
A brisk walk along the prom and the hotel sits proud at the end with the marine bar facing out on the corner.
Large American style diner of a bar with an extremely homely feel to it. Just after 7.30pm on a Monday and its half full with what mainly seem like locals. Food served until 8pm so we ordered a couple of fish meals.
There's 3 regular ales and 2 guests on cask. These are joined by Theakstons Best and Stout on keg. I went for one of the guest's which was Pennine Brewing Co's Natural Gold @ 4.2%, a nicely kept pint.
Back to the food, our meals were handsome. Good quality fish, nicely cooked and good value.
A regular in the GBG since 2008 and I can well support that as the ales are excellent.
Well worth the walk along the prom.
9/10 for me.

A pub in a good location you can sit out and see the beach and watch the world go by. Or go inside to be made very welcome in this looks like newley decorated and refurbed interior. Real ales were very good and at 2-50 a pint was ok. Carvery on a sunday, toilets 9/10. Plenty of car parking just opposite, well worth a visit. In the quieter north end of the town, so no bother with idiots, they tend to stay in the town centre.

Probably the best beer in Bridlington, good food also, mostly elderly customers.

Nice pub, Nice beer. Enough said

The interior is just too big and open plan to be attractive: something of a modern function room feel. But we enjoyed a plausible pint of Landlord sitting outside in the evening sun with a sense of the sea just across the road. There isn't much competition in Bridlington, however.

The rating I gave would be higher but the food was so,so. Toilets are a bit crummy too. But the beer was first class - I had Top of the Wolds

Nice open-plan bar on the seafront north of Bridlington town centre. John Smith's Bitter, Taylor Landlord and Theakston's Old Peculier were the cask beers. Sky Sports was on the television and Sunday night is quiz night. A nice place to spend some time. I'd like to bet it's even better during the summer!

Attached to the Expanse Hotel, The Marine Bar offers well kept ales and good food (the fresh locally caught Haddock & Chips is simply excellent). High backed plush seating and friendly staff. Bar has a modern feel with some modern art on walls. Popular with older clientele bar has a local feel with organised social events for the regulars, holidaymakers made to feel equally welcome though
