Hook and Parrot, Bridlingtonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
visited the hook and parrot on a sunday afternoon was not impressed the food was terrible it should cleariy just be a drinkers pub and not advertise food there was lots of yobs throwing beer around a place to avoid
On our visit, a cold snowy day, we found the staff chatty, the Guiness was only 1-50 a pint (usually 2-99) its a pub with a tatty style I suppose but you can watch all life pass the window. Old style wooden alcove seating, toilets look as if they had just had a refurb and were clean and tidy. No real ales on, but a quiet sunday pm, so no yobs as the other reviewers said
No ales, caters for the John smiths and fosters crowd, chaacterless, shabby. Urgh.
Pub has been closed for a clean up and a new carpet but is pretty much the same, beer is cheaper now.
This pub is FILTHY with sticky tables!!
Expensive and scruffy. Yobs banging on the window (from inside) and swearing seemed to be regarded as fairly affable behaviour. Horrible, avoid.
Friendly if somewhat tatty. Not all lagers were available and the bar staff didn't know what a dry giner was. could be a great little pub - right now it isn't
