This pub was featured in the national press today due to someone abandoning a military tank in the car park!

I could be wrong, but i walked past it this evening and it looked like it was either closed or being refurbished.

I like this pub, although it did briefly go down in my estimation when ordering a drink a few months back and the barmaid wasn't particularly nice, she just looked like she couldn't be bothered. Nonetheless it's an alright pub.

A good pub all-in-all, though the food takes rather a long time to be served.

Live locally so used to always give this pub ANOTHER chance, some of the staff are nice. Landlady is so rude, we have ate there several times and have had to wait an hour or the wronf food has been sent out. Pub is nice, unlike landladys attitude. Drinks are a waste of time especially anything with coke as a mixer as they use less than half the right amount of syrup. 3/10

Nice friendly pub, no faffing. Even get your fifth Stella free (hard to to remember your special card by that point though)!

The refurb has improved the place, but it still reminds me of a hotel rather than a pub...So apart from the conservatory its fairly soulless.
