Unable to try this pub today as it was closed until 6pm so went to the We Three Loggerheads.

I submitted details of We Three Loggerheads (and several other pubs) more than a year ago but think I'm more likely to win the Lottery than see them appear on BITE.

Nice, little pub hidden away off the main road in the village itself and located near to the Loggerheads Country Park. There are no signs on the main road. So I assume the pub relies on its reputation to get by. It has been in the Good Beer Guide for 20 years and had a good ale selection for a small village local. Spitting Feathers Solstice, George Wright Pipe Dream, Bowman Yumi, Phoenix Midsummer Madness & Salopian Oracle were all on. There are 2 cosy rooms and a couple of outdoor tables. The gents is also outside and has a wonderful array of old pumpclips on the ceiling. The landlady and the locals were friendly. Beware the opening hours. It did not open until 2pm on a Sunday. We continued on from here to the We Three Loggerheads, just down the A road, the Sun Inn in Eryrys and the Rose & Crown in Graianrhyd. But none are listed on here.

A great little pub, with a few interesting beers (Blue Moon superb) and people who engage in conversation. Hard to beat.

This is a real pub - about as far removed from those horrible chain bars as you can get, and all the better for it. Small and welcoming, fantastic range of real ales, all kept excellently, log fire in winter. No music, just good beer, fireside chat, dominoes and darts. Go there. We need to use these pubs if they are not to wither and die.

Another visit to this great pub the other evening. Had a couple of pints of Cwrw Glaslyn from the Purple Moose brewery. Very good!

Truly excellent old pub up a side road off the main drag into Loggerheads. A varied range of well kept beers served by a really good landlord (nice bloke too). Cosy bar, comfortable lounge and outside loos all add to the charm!

Proper pub,a gem. You don't get much better than this. Excellent ale, you can always guarantee a good pint when the landlord drinks it.

Excellent pub, very friendly - both staff and customers - Ever changing selection of real ales from both micros and regionals. Usually 5 or 6 available at any one time. Wihout a doubt the best real ale pub in NE Wales

Welcoming landlord and good choice of beers (normally local Welsh beer on offer). Small bar and outside toilets so poor for disabled.

The best beer and a cheerful landlord to boot in FLINTSHIRE. The range and quality of ale in such a small hostelry is just too delicious to be true and served with a smiling face which is not always the norm in this part of the world."
