Top notch pub especially as it is a JDW.
This pub breaks the JDW mold as the staff are polite and helpfull, the beer is kept well with plenty of choice.
Separate large family dining area which gets very busy, unusually the food is pretty good.
Definitely one of JDW's best, well worth a visit.

No doubt, a great JDW. See the last 5 posts. If only, all Wetherspoons could be like this one!
Will virtually live here for the January Sale - with Guinness at �1.99 a pint (well kept and well over a � cheaper than nearby pubs).

Best Wetherspoons I know. Beer excellent. Service brilliant. Food...usual Wetherspoons fare. A great pub for football fans when Plymouth Argyle are home. Away fans welcome.
Management and staff right on the ball.

Best wetherspoons ive been in, quick service well kept real ales, and the meals ordered were very enjoyable, couldnt fault it.

always has a good local ale range on offer - 5 ales or so - in good condition; staff and management are friendly and has a good local feel with fires lit and newspapers around
