Broxtowe Inn, Cinderhillback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Visited The Broxtowe Inn, now called the Nuthall. The pub in general seemed ok, staff there were very helpful. Young Assistant Manager by the name of David seemed highly professional, helped us out with queries and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Serving customers with a smile and friendly banter, and talking to what seemed like regular locals. I used to be a mystery customer for several years, picking up on pubs strenghts and weaknesses, and i can see that this young man is a major asset to this place. Also met the two young supervisors, both called Sarah. The Sarah without glasses was very helpful with my partner, helping her with which food option to opt for. She also seemed highly professional, and dealt with a customer complaint exceptionally. She too seemed to genuinely enjoy her job, as she was also taking time out to talk to locals and customers, which is a rarity is lots of pubs these days. The other supervisor called Sarah with glasses helped a customer with a food problem, and solved the problem very well. Unfortuneately, we did'nt see her after that. All, in all, the pub seemed ok, no youths or loudmouths, but it was the service standards of these young people that make me and my partner want to return, and we have reccommended this place to several of our friends for this reason alone. Go visit, good food, good drinks, great service!!!

They have new owners, and the refurb work carried out has really given it a new lease of life. With a carvery unit coming soon, and the plasma screens and Sky up and running, the Broxtowe Inn really is meeting the potential it has strived for, for so long. Good, effecient friendly staff, reliable management, and great food, it really has turned itself around. Go Visit!!!!
