Does it's job. Full of yuppie (are there still yuppies) and people getting plastered on their one night a week on the razz. Not a dreadfull place but expensive as shit. Woth a look but better take you Amex card.

always seems busy on friday and saturday evenings, so is filling it's niche somehow! good luck if it's that's your bag!

Yes, yes, yes. As if Maximo wasn't bad enough a P&P in Norwich. Give me a break. All so people can pretend they're affluent and successful whilst racking up ever larger credit card bills. If you want flash, go to London and get a dose of the real thing, not this pallid imitation. Go to a free house or an interesting little bar like the Playhouse.
The gaggle of identically dressed and coiffed numbskulls outside every Friday night should be enough to put you off - if not, on your own head be it. You don't deserve our advice.

It is indeed now The Pitcher and Piano, and I hate it. No real difference between then and now: decor much the same, crap ales and mostly lager. Let's be polite and call it "aspirational". Not my favourite part of town, but at least the more chavvy elements are now down the hill and far away, in the rat-run that is Riverside.
Mostly full of South-Eastern / London ex-pats. Minus 1 million out of ten.

After 5 years it's now closed. Soon to reopen as a Pitcher and Piano, apparently another yuppie bar. Just what Norwich needs
