Only Black Sheep Bitter on when we visited last Saturday. Average Wetherspoonsesque pub.

A great find for a town pub. Three real ales but well kept, and great food. Huge portions, extra veg rather than meat but very very tasty. Children welcome, sport on the telly. What more could we ask for? Ok, thought of something that could be improved - don't put gravy into the Yorkshire pud.

This pub offers three, really decent real ales, London Pride, Hogs Back (Usuallyu TEA, but sometimes changes to other hogs ales) and a Guest Ale. Pedigree at moment. A large pub with plenty on offer. Sky Sports, Dart Board, a freindly pub with a good atmosphere in the town centre of camberley, also a short walk from teh train station!
|
A decent pub with Guest Ales - London Pride is a perminate fixture here plus a Local Hogs Back line here usual TEA but sometimes a different hogs beer, in the last year i have sample and enjoyied - Autmun Ale, Summer Ale, St George/Englands Glory and Spring Call. The Third handpump is a Guest line and recently had tried and liked Bass, Bombardier, IPA and Delchuers IPA

polite and freindly pub with no trouble, more of a real ale drinkers pub, plus people here tend to be 25ish upwards which is good to!

Worked in the pub 16 years ago with a crazy canadian couple(kev and danni)-went in 3 years ago -hasnt changed a bit-going back next month with kev to catch up with a few peopl if I can contact them.Bev Dittberner.

Popped in there last week to see what the refit had done to the place, and was pleased to find that it was still full of people on the Broadmoor & Ridgewood centre waiting lists. They've changed the carpet and moved the toilet, but other than that it's exactly the same, John Smiths or Stella.

Currently closed for refurbishment. Re-opening 14th March 2008.

A very good pub, the Hogs Back Advent Ale hits the spot and is a real treat. The London Pride is great aa well! shall return soon! Well worth time to visit here! excallant!

Spent a slightly boozy Saturday afternoon in here with the Dogger. We made the disasterous discision to have a fry-up with our splendid pints of Hog's Back (fry-ups and ale a bad combination make). Shame, because this agreeable little spot was made into something very special by the utterly delighful barmaid and her tremendous charms. Will propose to her next time I'm in the area before Dogger does.

I work in Camberley and was visited by my colleagues from Wilton. They asked if there was a decent place to eat around here, so I took them to The Carpenters. They left mightily impressed by the standard of service, food and value for money of this wonderful establishment (not an easy thing to manage when serving management consultants!). My heartfelt thanks go to the management and staff. I have now changed my allegeance from the Tup to the Carps!

Spent a lunchtime here this week as my usual pub was shut, and all I can really say is reasonablly priced drinks, tables and stools a bit high for reading the papers on though! Not too bad actually, better than I thought it would be.
|
It's known locally as the "Ridgewood Arms"
weirdos ahoy!
|
What's al this about a quiet, old mans pubs, when I used to drink here it was fightsville!
|
easily the best pub in camberley and the surrounding towns. its a bit of an old mans pub, but anyone in their right mind would rather be there than in the goose, yates or wetherspoon which are nearby and full of 15-18 year olds. Good beer, cheap lager and 2.20 for a double on about 4 or 5 spirits. awesome. food is good too. xx

If this pub is really was supposed to be that bad, then it's changed a lot over the past year. Thought it was quite friendly and far from empty though to be fair I didn't try the beer
|
The comments on this pub seem rather unfair. Quiz night on Wednesday which does seem lively enough. Draws in a fairly large crowd, do take their time reading out the answers but it generates a good atmosphere nontheless

Went back last Saturday for an old friends birthday - the air-con was on full whack and the measly four pint of Krnie I drank gave me a thumping head-ache the next day. Bad lager, badly stored. Horrible. Flee

HaHa - 3/10 :) It's my local pub - the people are nice and friendly and thankfully all the teenage trouble makers stick to the High Street. Sure, you won't have a raucus night in the Carps but hey, that Camberley for you - London's just down the road!

Ah, the Crapinters. Many an edgy and empty Saturday night spent here in my hollow youth.
Last few times I've popped in, when I've been back in Camberley, it's been empty with a bit of a damp smell. I take it the place has lost out ot the newer boozers.
