Reopened and now called Hopes Bar.I was told it use to have a lot of trouble inside but not any more.Very nicely decorated and cheap as well.Always seems to have some sort of entertainment going on sounds good but I have to be honest most of the acts(not all) have been shi poor.

No Real Ale, Sbow & Newcastle Brown was �5.70. Good disco when visited and the service was friendly too (unlike other places in Clacton visited)

Closed again. No loss to the discerning beer drinker!

Total tranformation after re build. Now run by a very nice family. Caters for all age groups. serves good sunday lunches and look out for there special entertainment nights as they only have top quality acts.

Visited a few pubs during holiday, this was apparently just rebuilt, seemed ok during day, unsure during night, staff quite friendly, not many people. pub ok

Being completely rebuilt after being destroyed by fire. We live in hope that a good pub will emerge!
