Looks a nice place from the outside. Inside, it has a long bar with plenty of room. Although it's fairly dark. We came in at opening time yesterday - 11am. A couple of others followed us in shortly after. I'd imagine it gets fairly busy in the evenings. 2 ales and a cider were on - Courage Directors, Sharps Doom Bar & Orchard Pig Explorer. The only pub I found with a real cider. But there are many better ale choices around.

Not having read the reviews previously, I visited this pub with an open mind. It was around 5 pm on Sunday and although the World Cuo was on, there were few people in the bar. Most had gone out into the garden as the afternoon was sunny and warm. The meal was good and efficiently served by cheerful and polite staff who interacted with the customers. The only downside was that a carvery was advertised from 12 noon with no finishing time and this had finished by the time I arrived. Also, some of the offers while seeming to be clear did not appear to be offered or, if I had misunderstood them, they were confusing. For example, a dessert was offered for £3.55 and the enticement to add another one for half-price did not materialise as I was charged £7.10 for both. I didn't realise it at the time so I probably missed out. Otherwise a good experience. A very nice pint of Brain's dark smooth delightful.

Mediocre Sunday carvery today, pretty tasteless to say the least! Asked for a pint of tap water and was told that they don`t serve water in pint glasses only halves, another idiotic rule by the fool who runs this place!

Large open plan drinking barn that looks like it was a barn at one time - if there is any sport on with a local emphasis it also gets the animals in to match it. okay when empty though and the ale was drinkable and a local brew too.

Went in with friends who drink lager and wanted to watch the football on Sky. I hated it. Had a pint of horribly-kept SA Gold and an OK pint of Greene King IPA (a beer it's almost impossible to bugger up), and some deeply mediocre food. Stick to the No Sign bar round the corner.

Well, I didn't think this Pub could get any worse, since our last visit, but after going to the Cinema just down the road, we thought we would give the place another visit, after all it COULD be a nice place to have a drink. Somehow the Management have managed to turn it into a total dive, which smells awful, feels grubby and dirty, looks very shabby and dark nowdays too. Seems like a total meltdown has happened to this place, we didn't even bother ordering a drink, and just walked out of this dump......

Called in here today late afternoon, and found the place to be pretty quiet, expensive, and a totally flat atmosphere too. We were going to try and order a meal, after ordering our drinks, but the bar staff turned us away from that one, after suggesting " Yates is Cheaper " just up the road (?) WHAT.......make your own mind up on that one !!!!.......

Amazing pub, brilliant food and generally good service. Just had to write about the barmaid called Regan however. Talks loudly about intimate and just plain gross details of her sex life while I was trying to be served by one of the other barmaids. Just disgusting. My poor mam is over seventy and didnt know where to look. She was quite embarassed.

Brilliant pub, a bit expensive on the drinks but can't fault it, great beer garden and smoking area and food is good.
The service has always been great but the new staff don't seem to be so welcoming as the old staff. One female supervisor always seems to be miserable but apart from that the cross keys is one of the best venues in swansea.
The owners Ian & Jo did create a very welcoming atmosphere and hope the new Manager continues to deliver the same customer services Ian & Jo worked hard at achieving.

Lovely food and a great atmosphere on busy weekends. This pub is great in the Summer with a fab. outdoor area and outdoor heaters.

seems to of declined in recent years, not so busy at it used to be, probably because they charge 2.35 a pint when u can go arround the corner and get a pint for 1.35!!! very expensive, what have they done to the `beer garden` too!? looks like a concentration camp with all the halogen lamps on poles! not very tempting menu either...poor effort really.

OK pub with nice decor and decent food. Not too sympathetic to Swans fans though, manager not keen on football shirts and once put England game on big screen instead of Wales game.
