R.I.P O'Neill's Nottingham!!!
O'Neill's closed on October 20th to be turned into a cheesy 80s bar 'Reflex'. That pub will never be the same again, it has lost a great manager in Gerry, and a great team of friendly bar staff who always took time out to go out of their way for customers. The food was good, cheaper and alot better quality than pubs like Wetherspoons, and the service was great too. This pub attracted alot of regulars due to Gerry and the staff, and will be missed by many people, who won't be going there now that its only open during the evening, won't be doing o'neill's food, and will attract a totally different clientele. Mitchells and Butlers don't realise what they have lost!

this is one if not the best pub in nottsshame it closes this weekendthe landlord is gerry a great landlord and a very nice guy ,i think it is a disgrace what m% b brewery are doing to this man he will be sadly missed

Excellent food and beer, friendly staff and doorman, I agree Gerry is a topdog, will be a great shame when its closed down, also not happy with appalling way that Mitchells & Butlers have treated there best Manager that they have in Nottingham.

O'Neill's is great on a saturday night, a real party atmosphere and lots of good old music and jolly irish music too! The food and service is always good in the day too! Gerry the manager is a brilliant laugh too!

This is always a good second stop after Edwards if you don't particularly like the city type pubs. They seem to play songs which you haven't heard in ages and the food is very good too.

Brilliant atmosphere in this pub, most staff are friendly and the manager Gerry is top dog, friendly and always gives good service.
