Used to be live music venue - now closed.

I don't agree that this was a great location, it's right on the M25 roundabout! It was a terrible place, I wouldn't even call it a pub. Thank fook it's gone. Awful.

CLOSED Now a drive through Burger King
|
BK is not OK ... Egham used to have more pubs than you coul get drunk in ... Not any more RIP
|
BK has now opened. What a waste of a great pub location.
|
I cvan confirm that another British pub has bitten the dust and is to become a Burger King drive through ... deep joy
|
Much to the delight of the nearby rats that live by the round-a-bout this is now set to become a Burger King.
|
VERY CLOSED Used to sell Xmas trees from this Christmas. Planning application in place to convert to YET ANOTHER resturant ...

Now Closed!

An enjoyable music venue. Certainly got very popular on a Monday evening, probably because Panic Cell were playing. Good atmosphere
|
Great place + a nice crowd on Wednesday nights. I think probably on Fridays too, will have to get down there on a Friday and find out.
|
HORRIBLE PLACE, one for the police to keep an eye on i suspect.
Chav bar one night goth bar another, very odd setup.

Had a pint of Deuchars IPA in here the other day - not impressed - a bit cloudy - though for some reason Jock beers dont do much for me anyway.

Cheap drinks, good company, and some great bands and disco nights. Weird mix of people as well! Grungers drinking with chavs, bikers drinking with boy-racers. Intolerance gets left at the door. But best of all... Armies of totty from the college down the road!

This pub is frequented by a beer swilling, bear punching, duffle coat knicker; a sauve, debonair, key throwing (and catching) mondeo driver; New Zealander who speaks the Queens English, like I don!... a Warren Beatty lookalikey! and a bird that pee's her knickers! and laughs at any joke. A great place for a pie and pint! Bussshaka! Aiiight! Maasive

It's called the Iguana, for christsakes.

As pubs go in Egham it's not too bad, but that doesn't mean it's good by any stretch of the imagination. I object wholeheartedly to any pub - I mean, PUB - that refuses entry on a Friday evening to anyone wearing trainers. It's pathetic. They'd do better to refuse entry to those who are still taking their GCSEs.

Only good alternative music pub around. Nice aptmosphere. Most people there under-30s. Blackout - Rex ex-electric ballroom DJ on a wednesday 'frightnight' - v.busy - worth coming along for that. A bit of a random place to get to...but all in all, a good night every time ive been - despite other people's ratings - might go there tonight in fact :-D

This place used to operate quite well when first opened....now it makes me want to think why it exists at all.

should be a bingo hall

Always totally empty, I'm not sure how it's still open. Charging 4 to get in on a Friday wasn't helping as it's easy to see from outside that it's not worth 50 pence, and I think it's come down since then.

Funpub/disco/winebar/bistro and it does none of them well. If you fancy a rumble with some old trout of a Friday night this is the place for you, just mention you have a job.

Offensive, in-your-face Club-Pub. All lights are switched off after 8 so that you can't see the beasts patrolling the dance floor. Poor selection of beers, HUGE selection of alco-pops. Only place in Egham with a late licence.
