Links Hotel, Lytham St Annesback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Here is a message I received this morning, verbatim. "We we’re cheated. We turned up at the Links Pub last night, having seen on Facebook that your band was on. We know you are excellent from seeing you in Penwortham and Chorley. We got there about 9.45 but you had already left! We asked a local where you were, and he said that you played a great first set and then suddenly packed up and left. Apparently the landlord had told you that he wasn’t going to pay you – not even expenses – because it was a quiet night and he couldn’t cover the cost. We know you had travelled a long way, and so had we. This is disgraceful. He not only cheated you, but also potential new customers. Although, as the pub was scruffy and dirty, and with little choice of beers, we wouldn't go back there anyway. If you are going to take legal action to recover your costs we’ll support you!" It’s all true.

It's a great place to watch sport on saturday afternoons - very friendly local - sometimes the real ales are ok as well.

One of the best pubs in Lancashire if not the best, quizzes two nights a week with an open the box on sunday, live entertainment on a couple of nights. Always something going on like the party for St Georges day any excuse for a good get together then the Landlord Tony does it. 8FT football screen brilliant and always decorated smart for the England games. Staff always smart and welcoming, this one is a definate must to try.

A friendly local with live entertainment and quiz nights. Wide screen for major sporting events, pool table, darts snooker and a wide choice of ales not forgetting that food is also available. Enjoy

This pub has now been done up and has a new landlord, very friendly place, nice simple food, nice beer.

Alright for a quick pint, but not particularly friendly or comfortable. You'll be well in if you are a pigeon fancier.
