Was in Swansea last week on business and popped in the Manselton Hotel. Cannot say enough how impressed I was. This was a pub which still has the feel of a traditional local whilst catering for the hungry punters as well. The food was homely and decent portions. Jon the landlord made me feel very welcome and there was a general good vibe (fairly busy for 6pm on a Thursday). Would thorughly recommend this place for a pint or a bite to eat. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Only called in a couple of times. It should be my local and the atmosphere seems good. But like most (all?) the pubs in the area, it's sadly let down by not having any real beer. Only keg, nitrokeg and ersatz lager. Mind you it did have Cwrw Haf in bottles the other week, but I understand that was a mistake.
If it starts selling any cask ales, will somebody let me know?

the maselton is a great family pub that attracts a good following for the range of good bar meals they offer. the bar has the usual array of games and tv etc and the lounge is a nice quiet room for the conversationalists among us and a quiz night on a wednesday too.
