Merry Monk, Lancingback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Only one real ale pump, and the beer was off. Not terribly merry at all.

Didn't actually eat or drink here(they only had Old Spekled Hen and wern't doing food), but the barman was very friendly and pointed us in the direction of the Farmers where food was available.
As regards to the coments about knuckle dragging women you must be talking about the farmers. The Merry Monk is a very friendly local pub, that does great food, and has fantastic bar staff.
extremly harsh about the tattoos. Excellent friendly staff and anybody welcome at any time. Food til four, and its not bad.
If you like your teeth the way they are, avoid this pub and the Farmers like the plague!! Full of knuckle dragging, tattooed neaderthals, and thats just the women. Get on the train and go to Worthing or Shoreham.
OK lunch times. Evening it fills up with fatsos with tattoos, male and female, and everything is far too loud. If you want a place to relax, the station is 50 yards away and Shoreham is only 5 minutes distant with plenty of pubs I'd rather recommend.

If you are 50 plus and just getting a swift one while waiting for your train, you should be OK, Any younger or later in the evening, you will be lucky to escape with the same shaped nose. Avoid this and the Farmers hell freezes over.
