The Railway, Liverpool

Strange? Not really damocles11. My vested interest, such as it is, is that I am a regular in this pub and I would hate anybody to get the wrong impression of it. I was there all of yesterday afternoon (you can wish me a happy birthday in your response) and the staff in there made a real effort to make it a lovely day for me and my mates. As I say, I cannot speak highly enough of the place. It's like pubs used to be. Amanda and the staff always have time for you. To be fair, they do sometimes have to put up with some right whingers who are never satisfied, but ytou'll never satisfy all of the people all of the time will you?

The Railway, Liverpool

I've drank in one or two pubs in this fair city and the Railway is streets ahead of the others. The staff are the greatest asset this pub has, no matter what others may say. They are all really pleasant and helpful (disinterested? Stop it!) and when we go there after work (not infrequently by a long chalk) we regard them as friends. The food is always quality when we eat there, the atmosphere is always friendly, the whole place is always very clean and getting served is always easy. The Railway? Top pub. Keep it up Godfrey lad.......
