The Black Horse Inn, Byworth

The Black Horse has been through some troubled times over the last ten years, but has finally settled down under freehold ownership and Free House status. This stability is evident from the standard of business management: staff are welcoming, friendly and professional, the locals are affable and cheery, and the whole atmosphere is relaxed and warm.
The bar offers a good range of ales, from the standard London Pride to Flowerpots Bitter, Dark Star Hophead, and a regularly changing guest beer.
It is in the restaurant that the remarkable advances have been made. The kitchen is now in the capable hands of talented and inspired young chef Sam Baker, who is rapidly gaining recognition as an up and coming star to watch. The food offering is delicious across the board, and for this quality you really cannot complain at the prices, which compare extremely favourably with other local menus of a lesser standard.
I would personally recommend the Black Horse to anyone.
