The Pembury Tavern, Hackney

Visited the other day and was pleasantly suprised that, considering previous reviews, there was a reasonable crowd in. I was expecting to see tumbleweed blowing across the bar but although it wasn't heaving, there were a number of people eating, some playing pool and some other groups drinking/chatting.
A pleasant atmosphere to go with the great beer and good food, what more could you need.
