The Halfway House, Barnes

We were a minibus full of visiting rugby folk, come to see our team play at Rosslyn Park. I found the pub on-line and phoned the (very helpful) publicans. I ordered a buffet lunch which, when it came, would have fed the team as well. We had a fantastic welcome, drank some superb ale and were really well looked after. When we couldn't finish the buffet it was whisked away and returned, neatly wrapped in foil, for us to eat on our journey home. This place is well worth putting on rugby clubs' preferrd pubs list.
