The Parrot Inn, Forest Green

Speaking as being one of the loud mouthed shooting locals with a 4x4 having drunk the pub for the last 20 years. I do agree with the service of the bar staff being slow and the management being temperamental. I have never had a bad pint served.

As for the loacls hogging the bar - that wouldnt be so if the stools werent removed on a Sunday to allow non-locals to order a bottle of wine and a meal over a bar that is designed to serve drinks!!

Remember: Its the locals that keep the light bulbs alight and the fire burning in the winter months, when the pub is not full of people with two for �5 meals ripped out of the Times, who park their cars in the car park like Stevie Wonder!!

Regards to the shooting crowd, its us that provide the game for the pies and dishes to help the pub achieve their michelin stars and has won the Inter-Village Shooting Challenge for the last four years.
