The Plough, Tyttenhanger

We went to eat at this pub on a Sunday recently for a special occasion - Fathers Day and my Dad's 65th birthday. We took along the brats (who are actually generally very well behaved little girls) and had a fantastic time. Lovely table reserved for us (very important with children, who generally cannot take a pub crawl at lunch time to find space to sit down) and of course the garden facilities kept them well entertained for the afternoon. We arrived at midday and had a lovely varied menu to choose from (and the 8 of us tried most things!) - everything from full English breakfast to yummy roast dinners, and sandwiches and kids food inbetween! The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful, and we were served very quickly and with a smile - what more can you ask for?! Oh yes, for the food to be delicious - and it was! Just what this area needs, we're so pleased the eating times have been extended and we will definitely be going back for more soon.
